A self taught crafter at a very young age. Madam Joo Choon Lan (aka Lan jie) is a very tough and courageous lady. She contracted polio whilst still a child and in later years, and a cancer survivor. A wife, a mother of 2, handcrafting beaded keychains is her livelihood. She and her husband, who has limited walking abilities, plied the streets when we met them.
